Eulogies session with Anchor Tapes

better than nothing (wurlitzer mix)
I took the songs and stripped them all down to the basics: kick, snare and vocal. Then I replaced the guitars, using a wurlitzer electric piano, and went from there to come up with an entirely different look. The album ended up being so sonically rich and juicy it was a fun exercise to tear everything away and see what a different approach would bring to these songs. Look for these mixes to be coming your way in the next few weeks.

the morning after

SXSW
We are here. It is mad. We’ve played a few shows and had a few interviews and been given a few things for free like sunglasses and watches. We have 2 more performances today that we are really excited about- rusty spur’s/Swinghouse at 5 and mellow johnny’s/Dangerbird at 9. More to come…
